Pannier is seeking a qualified Manufacturing Programmer-Analyst to work on software applications that control Laser, Programmable Stamper, and Ink Jet industrial marking equipment. Qualifications include having software design, development, and testing skills. The Manufacturing Programmer-Analyst must meet project deadlines. The Manufacturing Programmer-Analyst must be able to work and collaborate in a group environment. The Manufacturing Programmer-Analyst will write and maintain software applications that handle data transfer, provide the operator interface, and control the marking equipment. The Manufacturing Programmer-Analyst must be able to organize software code into understandable modules that are easy to maintain. The Manufacturing Programmer-Analyst will follow projects from inception to post-installation, including software estimate, writing software design specification, application coding, software testing, installation, and customer support.
BS in Computer Science or related field.
1 to 3 years of software development experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Visual Basic 2010 & Microsoft Visual Studio 2010, VB 6, Word, and Excel.
Working knowledge of computer communication methods – Serial (RS232) and Windows Sockets (Ethernet TCP/IP).
Working knowledge of relational databases.
Ability to understand a legacy system and design new functionality.
Ability to research new technologies, understand and implement them.
Excellent communication skills.
